Lie-Nielsen Workbench / Sharpening Bench

This bench was imported from Maine as a Sharpening Bench with a marble top (long gone). A NZ pine 100mm thick bench top was made here in Australia to replace the original. The legs and cross members are all Pennsylvania Rock Maple as is the massive vice jaw.

It also features the sort after Lie-Nielsen 18” chain drive vise. (These alone are well over AUD$1000)

Bench top measures 1100mm x 620mm, excellent studio bench. (LN used to make one of these). The bench maple legs can be dismantled for transport, LN particularly constructed them this way for this purpose.
