- GS2000 - 2000 grit is a good grit to start with when encountered with a very dull blade or a blade that requires reshaping. Also effective at producing an easliy noticeable wire or burr on the blade indicating you have honed right to the apex of the blade's two surfaces .
- Can be used as an intermediate grit when sharpening knives.
