Stitching Pony for Hand Stitching Leather

Our stitching pony is well made and versatile. Traditionally, stitching ponies are used sitting down which you can do with our pony as the base fits under your legs when seated. It can also be used standing up when the pony is placed on a workbench or table, we recommend clamping the base of the pony to your bench. The pony is 400mm tall (16") with leather inserts in the jaws to hold your workpiece safely. One side is hinged to allow insertion of the workpiece and changing the clamping bolt position. It has 3 positions for the clamping bolt so deeper or longer projects can be held. The clamping bolt has a spring to exert some pressure and a stainless wing nut. You will need to screw in 4 wood screws (pre-drilled & supplied) to attach the base to the upright section.
